英国Freeview频道为了庆祝自己的十周岁生日，公开倡导投票选出了过去十年（即2002年—2012年）英国本土电视节目十佳，全球范围内掀起古装英剧热潮的《唐顿庄园》(Downton Abbey)位列榜首，E4电视网的喜剧《中间人》(The Inbetweeners)位居次席（该剧的电影版同样在英国大卖），排名第三的是全球范围内交口称赞的三集片 《神探夏洛克》(Sherlock)。 王牌真人秀《学徒》(The Apprentice)和《X达人秀》(The X Factor)分列第四和第五位。Channel 4的《与我共进大餐》(Come Dine With Me)名列第六，七到十名分别是《加文与斯泰西》(Gavin & Stacey),《地球脉动》(Planet Earth)和《冰上起舞》(Dancing on Ice)。另外，《神秘博士》男星大卫·田纳特(David Tennant)被票选为过去十年英国最受欢迎演员。被美国翻拍的《无耻之徒》(Shameless)并未出现在这份榜单中，让人很是意外。
